A sausage sizzle in the making

HONG KONG (Mabuhay) : CARD-OFW Hong Kong held its first livelihood skills training session on September 20 as part of its programme to teach practical skills that migrant workers can use to help earn their living after they return home for good.

The one-day workshop running from morning until sunset, was joined by over 150 people at the Bayanihan Centre, Kennedy Town.

Financial literacy course welcomed at parishes

HONG KONG (Mabuhay) : More than 20 people from St. Anne’s parish in Stanley were presented with graduation certificates after completing a financial literary course conducted by the Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD) OFW Foundation (Hong Kong) on August 30.

The certificates were presented to the graduates by the parish priest, Father John McAuley.
