Protect abused children to honour the Sto. Niño

CEBU (Mabuhay) : The traditional Sto. Niño procession, which was attended by upwards of two million people on the weekend of January 14 and 15 in Cebu, should not be just one more fiesta, according to Father Congegundo Garganta, from the Commission for Youth.

Running under the theme of Señor Sto. Niño: Refuge of the Filipino Christian Family, Bishop John Du said at a Mass celebrated at the basilica in Cebu that the Christian faith should grow just as the Niño has grown to be a man and die on the cross.
